Mobile operator Orange Poland plans to start testing of its 5G network in the city of Lublin on 24 October, reports Telepolis.pl. Jean-Marc Vignolles, the COO of Orange Europe; Jean-Francois Fallacher, the president of Orange Poland; Thierry Balouka, the vice-president of Nokia; and Piotr Kaczmarek, the chairman of the Polish branch of Nokia, plan to take part in the event, according to Telecompaper.
Equipment from Nokia will be used for the tests. The operator earlier tested its 5G network in Warsaw, where equipment from Ericsson was used, according to Telecompaper.
