ZTE announced the official release of its end-to-end virtual reality live solution at Mobile World Congress. The platform offers support for VR content capture, elastic networks, a premium video platform, VR software development kits and set-top boxes, according Telecompaper. At MWC, ZTE demonstrated its low-latency 2K P30 VR broadcast service based on wireless networks and wired networks, with 360-degree panorama video and mobile capture video, presented to visiting customers via VR terminals, VR mobile phone applications and STBs. 
 
The low-latency VR multicast solution effectively reduces the access network pressure and greatly reduces capital expenditure, and just-in-time packaging and transcoding technology ensures efficient content distribution and VR live quality, according to the vendor. Its content delivery network supports large concurrency processing, ensuring a stable VR live experience. ZTE's E2E VR live solution is now commercially available.
