Vodafone Romania backed the upgrade of a computer science laboratory of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. The lab was renovated and modernised to adapt the space to the current training needs of the students from the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics, as well as from other faculties, according Telecompaper. The new lab has a capacity of 27 seats and was completely equipped with mobile and new equipment consisting of computers, a video projector and a screen for projection. The project was developed following the partnership concluded between the operator and the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest in June.
The partnership with the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest is part of the Vodafone Romania initiative aimed at supporting the academic environment in Romania and the practical training of students.
In the same context, the company will also implement the Marketing Academy programme, which consists of a series of training sessions supported by a team of Vodafone Romania professionals. The workshops are dedicated to students interested in a future career in marketing or related fields. The programme, based on an interactive learning concept, will be organised at the company's headquarters.
ASE Bucharest students can also join the Discover programme, an accelerated professional development programme for young people with potential, and become Management Trainee within the various departments of Vodafone Romania. It mainly addresses master students and graduates and offers international exposure opportunities within the Vodafone group.
