Orange Romania said 40 students from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ETTI) of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest graduated from its Orange Educational Program (OEP) during the academic year 2017 - 2018, according Telecompaper. The programme complements students' knowledge and gives them more chances of professional development and new job opportunities.
During this school year, students attended courses totaling 270 hours from Orange specialists. At the same time, they were rewarded with 10 scholarships worth EUR 2,400 each and 20 summer scholarships worth EUR 200. The programme was also extended to the Faculty of Informatics of Al. Ioan Cuza from Iasi through a summer school. In Iasi, Orange delivers a series of courses in IoT, OpenStack and 5G resource orchestrations. The faculty there will also be equipped with Wi-Fi infrastructure.
