Huawei Romania sent 10 students, including 8 from Bucuresti and two from neighbouring country Moldova, to a two-week long training stage in China, according Telecompaper. This move is part of its 'Huawei Seeds for the Future' programme for students which is also backed by Romania's Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Informational Society as well as multiple local universities. Huawei said it's continuing to provide support for the education system in Romania through programmes for students such as 'Huawei Seeds for the Future.'
In the first week, students attended Chinese language and culture classes in Beijing and visited parts of the capital. In the next week, they moved to the Huawei Academy campus in Shenzhen where they received pieces of advice and consultancy from the company's specialists. They also had access to modern technology from Huawei's laboratories. The training stage took place between 18 August and 2 September.
